CULMINATING SUMMARY & REVIEW AND CONFIRMATION
This year’s 18 confirmands will participate in a Culminating Summary & Review on Wednesday, April 30. This will be a conversational Q&A–style recap of the doctrine in Luther’s Small Catechism. The students will have their photos taken at 5:00 PM, followed by dinner at 6:00 PM, and the review at 6:45 PM. Families of the confirmands and church members are invited to attend.
The Rite of Confirmation will take place on Sunday, May 4 during the 9:00 AM worship service. A cake reception will follow downstairs in the church fellowship hall.
NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER
Join us on Thursday, May 1 as we unite in prayer and worship, seeking God’s guidance, protection, and blessings for ourselves and others throughout our country and the world. We’ll meet in the school gym at 8:30 AM and walk to All Veterans Memorial in Veterans Memorial Park together. Feel free to join us in the gym or right at the memorial.

LWML TASTING LUNCHEON
This year’s LWML Tasting Luncheon is on Friday, May 16, 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM! Tickets are $12 reserved or $14 at the door. Call Shirley McCord to reserve your tickets: 319-365-4961. The Trinity Lutheran School 7th graders will be our servers. Any tips they receive will be used for their 8th grade class trip. See you then!
TRINITY NIGHT AT THE BALLPARK
Let’s tailgate before the Kernels game on Saturday, May 17! The Kernels are battling the Peoria Chiefs! Meet us in the school parking lot at 5:15 PM for delicious food, then head over to the game. Game tickets are $13.00 each (a $5.00 savings) but must be purchased by May 16! Tickets are full price the day of the game. Kids 3 and under are free if they sit on a parent’s lap. Gates open at 5:30 PM. Game starts at 6:35 PM. Stay until the end to catch the spectacular fireworks show!
