PANCAKE BREAKFAST
Trinity’s youth will be hosting a pancake breakfast before our Sunday worship service on April 28 from 8:00-9:00 am! Don’t miss the chance to fill up on a yummy, fluffy, hot meal! Freewill donations will be taken to support youth activities.
BACKPACK & SCHOOL SUPPLIES DRIVE
The Irene Christina Reinking Foundation is holding a backpack and school supplies drive for students in Liberia-West Africa now through April 30. Donations needed include notebooks, pencils, crayons, scissors, glue, new or gently used backpacks, etc. Items may be left in the marked box at church or in the church office. Ms. Reinking was a member at Trinity.
SUMMARY & REVIEW AND RITE OF CONFIRMATION
This year’s confirmands will participate in a Culminating Summary & Review on Wednesday, May 1. This will be a conversational Q&A–style recap of the doctrine contained in the Small Catechism between pastor and the confirmands. The students will have their photos taken at 5:00 pm, followed by dinner at 6:00 pm, and the review at 6:45 pm. Families of the confirmands and church members are invited to attend.
The Rite of Confirmation will take place on Sunday, May 5 during the 9:00 am worship service. A cake reception will follow in the church fellowship hall.
NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER CHAPEL
Walk with us to the All Veterans Memorial in Veterans Memorial Park for a special Chapel Service at 8:30 am on the National Day of Prayer, Thursday, May 2. (Note: No Chapel Service on May 1.)
PARENTS’ NIGHT OUT
Register today for Parents’ Night Out on Friday, May 10 from 6:00-9:00 pm! Ages 2+ welcome. Pick up and drop off at the school main entrance. Freewill donations will be taken to support our youths’ mission trip to Kingston, IL and their trip to the Youth Conference in New Orleans, LA this summer. Registration deadline: Thursday, May 9. Save the dates for this year’s Vacation Bible School — June 10-13 from 9:00-11:00 am each day. Jesus gives us so many things worth celebrating —most importantly, His love and forgiveness. Kids will enjoy games, music, crafts, time with friends, and more while celebrating our Savior! (Kids 3-yrs-old [potty-trained] — 5th grade.)
