Join our brothers and sisters in worship for Ascension Day. Ascension Day service at Zion Lutheran Church, Hiawatha will take place at 6:30 PM tonight, May 9, with the Rev. W. Max Mons (IDE’s First Vice President and Pastor at St. Paul’s Lutheran Chapel, Iowa City) preaching. Refreshments will be served after the Divine Service.

Fire safety day for our Third graders! There is a great safety series provided by the CR Fire Department when our students are in Third grade.

Yesterday, it was all about the safely exiting a house fire. Thank you for the CRFD for providing this great resource for learning practical life lessons to keep our students and their families safe.

This year’s auction was a great success! We are raising funds for technology items (iPads & upgraded wireless switches) and your generosity through auction bids helped us raise $4,305! We had a $6,000 goal and this is a great amount towards that goal!

Thank you to everyone who won auction items, to those who donated items, and the volunteers (Jessica Riha, Dawn Groth, and Dana Freymark) who made this event happen!
