The next Healthy Snack Sale will be TOMORROW, Thursday, January 17.
Each month 2 classes bring snacks and drinks to school. You will be notified by the homeroom teacher if your class is the host. The hosting class will need to provide volunteer parents to be responsible for setting up, selling, and cleaning up after the sale that runs from 1:30pm-3:30pm that day. The sale takes place in the entryway of the school.
All snacks are 50 cents and each student is allowed to buy up to 2 items during the school day, and then, if there are any left, after school. All leftover snacks may be given to Extended Care or the 2 participating classrooms.
A list of healthy snack items will be sent home with each student. Parents are encouraged to send only items on that list. Healthy snacks may be brought the morning of the sale and put in the conference room, on the table. The conference room is located to the left as you come in the front door.
All money collected will be given to the host class. Monies collected will help cover costs of the host class eighth grade class trip. Example, the host class is Kindergarten, the money collected will be saved each year until that class reaches 8th grade, and then used to help defer costs for their class trip.
