National Lutheran Schools Week

March 4 - March 8

**If you are not dressing up for the theme each day you must wear regular dress code attire**

Monday: Connected to Christ- BeaCH day – Dress like you’re going to the beach! Sunglasses, leis, tropical colors, Hawaiian shirts, sun hats. Chapel family activity after opening. Please bring markers/crayons.

Tuesday: Connected to God’s Creation – Rainbow Day! Dress in the color assigned to your class. Kindergarten – Red  1st Grade-Orange  2nd Grade-Yellow  3rd Grade-Green  4thGrade-Blue  5th Grade-Purple  6th Grade-Pink  7th Grade-Red  8th Grade-Orange  First Steps-Yellow  PK3-Green  PK4-Blue  KPrep-Purple. 2:00 “healthy walk”. Nature scavenger hunt in chapel families.

Wednesday: Connected to the Spirit – TwIn/TrIplet Day! Dress up identically with someone else. Fruit (of the Spirit) snacks in your room. Song (optional)

Thursday: Connected to the Church – WeStern Day! Dress in plaid or in western gear like cowboy hats, jeans, boots, etc. Concert at Central Lutheran School in Newhall K-4th grades. EC and 5th-8th grades cooperative activity in the gym. 12:00 all school chapel family picnic.

Friday: Connected to the Commission – InTernational Day! Wear something that represents another place here in America or around the world. Shirt from another state or country, outfit from another country or state, etc.. Make cards for missionaries while watching an optional video in your classroom.
