On Tuesday, September 18, we are going to combine our conditioning and activity periods in a cross country meet at Camp Io-Dis-E-Ca! The purpose of this event is to promote physical fitness in a fun and different way.
All students in our fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth grade gym classes will be placed on a team. Every student’s score (the place they take in the meet) will count towards their team’s total. In cross country one doesn’t have to be the best runner on the course to help his team; every individual’s effort counts.
If you are interested in being involved, we certainly could use your help! We especially need drivers and course monitors. Please return the informational sheet that was sent home on September 4, or email the school office at galvinl@trinitycr.org if you are able to help.
We will be leaving school at approximately 8:30 AM. We will return to Trinity by noon. Students will eat lunch at school during their regularly scheduled lunch period.
Students may come to school dressed in their gym clothes . They will need to have their school uniform clothes available to change into once they arrive back at school.
Every student will need a Standard Activity consent form to be able to participate. If a student does not have a form, they will be required to stay at school during the activity.
