God is My Rock!

Our theme for this school year 2009-2010 is based on 2 Samuel 22:3, “God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation.”

Time for many of us is a commodity sought after constantly. The Bible passage used this year for our theme helps us to put into perspective why God is our rock. With the many activities, programs, desires, and wishes that we try to be involved in we need to and should take note of the fact that our God, Lord and Savior is calling to us in this passage. God speaks, as He always does, with authority to us Christians and we need to stop and listen. God is our rock, our sure, solid, unchanging, believable heavenly father; His desire for us is to rely upon His means grace for our salvation.

It is with joy and sadness that I have chosen to step away from administration into retirement. Since graduating in 1969 from Concordia University – Chicago my life has been filled with wonderful years of ministry. God's blessings to you and your families.
