Pre-school Information3-Year-Old Pre-school
The three-year-old class meets on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8:30 - 11:15 AM. Children need to be three years old on or before September 15 to attend this class. Children must be toilet trained. Three-year-old preschool is a year of social development. Through playtime, circle time, and snack time the important goals of a positive self-image and a joy of learning are developed within a Christian setting. Class time is centered on our Jesus Time. Through playing, singing, exploring, stories, activities, finger-plays, and snack the children are learning about the love of Jesus and how He takes care of each one of them. 4-Year-Old Pre-school
The four-year-old class meets on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings from 8:30-11:15 AM. Children need to be four years old on or before September 15 to attend this class. Children must be toilet trained. Four-year-old preschool is a continuation of the development of social skills, along with letter and number recognition. Through providing calendar, singing, exploring, playtime, finger-plays, sharing, stories, art, and language development a successful experience will help develop each child’s self confidence. Class time is centered on Jesus Time. Through Bible stories, music, movement, art, and hands on activities the children are learning that Jesus is their best friend and they each have a special relationship with Him. Afternoon Pre-school
This class meets on Monday thru Friday afternoons from 12:15-3:00 PM. This program allows children with an extra year of growth and maturity before Kindergarten. The students continue social development, letter and number recognition, written language, and an investigation of science and social studies. Through playtime, calendar, snack, stories, singing, exploring, art, language development, number and letter recognition, and practice in writing the children expand their knowledge of God’s miraculous world. Class time is centered on Jesus Time. With music, movement, flannel board Bible stories, and hands on activities the children will grow by learning about their own special relationship with Jesus as their best friend. With Jesus as their example they will learn how to love and care for other people and how to live a Christian life. Tracie Payne - Pre-school Director
