EXTENDED CARE
Due to lack of use, Starting Monday Oct. 5th Extended Care will not open in the morning until 7:00AM. We are able to provide service between 6:30 AM and 7:00 AM as long as we are notified by 8:00 the evening before. You may either contact Bill Wilson at 361-0816 or Kirsten Swain at 899-4239. (* A table of half days and full days are listed below.) REGISTRATIONPre-registration is required for use of Extended Care. Registration forms are available in the office or from Ms. Swain. There is a $15.00 registration fee to register your child. FEES (EXTENDED CARE IS A PRE-PAY PROGRAM)About the fees: Extended care is a self-funded program. All fees go towards activities for the children, snacks, payroll of staff and supplies needed for the room. Extended care has 2 payment options: Payment Option #1: Cash or Check Extended Care is a pre-paid program. A new policy has been placed in effect that a credit card will need to be placed on file in order to use Extended Care. If you are past due over 30 days then your credit card will be billed. We reserve the right to withhold use of Extended Care to families that are past due $30.00 or more without prior arrangements. Any fees charged for a returned credit card or returned check will be applied to the student’s account. A $4.00 an hour fee will be charged for Extended Care use. If pre-payment is not made before Extended Care use, then the charge is $5.00 an hour. If payment is not made within 30 days of the statement date, then a $15.00 late charge will be billed and your credit card on file will be billed. If your credit card is unable to be billed, a $15.00 late charge will be billed every 30 days until the bill is paid. PRE-PAY AND SAVE When you pre-pay with cash or check you have the ability to save money by pre-paying larger amounts. If you pre-pay $250.00 to $449 you will get a credit for 10 free hours. If you pre-pay $450 or more you will get a credit for 25 free hours. Payment Option #2: Credit Card Extended Care also offers the convenient option of simply billing your credit card monthly for the charges used the month prior. If you would like to use this method the charge would be $4.00 an hour. Charges to your credit card would be billed at the beginning of the month. If for some reason we are not able to bill your credit card that month, we will mail you a bill with the rate of $5.00 an hour. Any charges that may occur in trying to bill your credit card would be billed to you. If payment is not made within 30 days of the statement date then a $15.00 late charge will be billed. The charge will be billed every 30 days until the charges are paid. Charges will be billed in 15 minute increments rounded to the closest 15 minutes. Example: If you pick your child up at 4:07, you will be billed until 4:00. If your child is picked up at 4:08, you will be billed until 4:15. Time in after school starts at 3:15, unless your child is a preschooler; preschool dismisses at 3:00 so charges will start from that time. Morning Dismissal is at 8:10 therefore time will be rounded until 8:15 Please note: After 6 pm you will be charged $1 a minute. Also, due to lack of participation we will no longer offer service on full days off of school. DRESS:Children must wear shoes at all times. Dress shoes are not safe on the playground; please send a pair of gym shoes if you child is wearing dress shoes. Children are likely to get dirty on the playground. It is good idea to send some play clothes for your child to change into. During winter months children need snow pants, hats, boots, and gloves/mittens in order to go outside, they will NOT be allowed outside without them. Special Care Days Provided 2009-2010
April 2nd is Good Friday so Extended Care will be closing early. May 28th is the last day of school and subject to change. Holidays, Days Off, and Half-Day Schedule
