To Know Christ, To Make Christ Known.
Our Lord handed this mission to us when He said, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age” (Matt 28:19-20).
We get to know ourselves by getting to know our Savior as our stories collide at the font of Baptism. St. Paul tells us that “all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death” and “we were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life” (Rom 6:3-4).
Christ Jesus knows us because He took away our sin, death, and hell by His crucifixion, and we know Him because He gives us His forgiveness, life, and salvation by His resurrection from the grave. Knowing Him gives us a share in the greatest story ever told, and we want to make Him known by giving you a share in His story too!
